Year 5 showed what an amazing group of children they are. Everyone one of them challenged themselves to have a go at abseiling down Millers Dale Bridge, weaseling at Higger Tor, high ropes and cargo net on site and exploring in the dark at Ashford Black Marble Mine.

Children from Class 3 and Class 4 visited Sherwood Pines this week to take part in the Bassetlaw School Sports, Jingle Jog. Each child was given a Santa hat to wear during a 2km run through Sherwood Pines. All the children and adults had a great time.
Thank you to everyone who bought ' The Boy Who Lost His Burp' during author Mike Cordons visit to school. £100 was raised for the Special Care Baby Unit at Bassetlaw Hospital. Happy reading.

Another huge well done to our school football team, who have now secured their fame by appearing in The Worksop Guardian.
A huge congratulations to our school football team who have been amazing this year and finished the season by winning the Champion of Champion trophy with a 4-3 win over Prospect Primary.
