Religious Education
Pupils enjoy their learning in Religious Education and achieve well. We follow the ‘Come and See’ Programme of learning and the quality of teaching in RE is good.
Each topic lasts 4 weeks on average (term dependant):
Our teaching is based around Exploring Revealing and Responding to the topic. This includes liturgy prepared by the children and based on learning within the topic.
You can access some useful information here about how you can support you child at home.
Living the seasons of the Liturgical Year
“Religious Education has a strong presence, different topics are led throughout the school – adapting the abilities and age of the child. Throughout the school children come home and talk about what they have learnt – so learning has been adapted to the relevant level for the child’s class. All children are included no matter whether they are from a catholic background or not.”
