Each week there will be links to new activities to complete on ‘My Maths’ and ‘Maths with Parents’

If you haven’t had the details or are experiencing any problems getting started then please let me know.
Every two weeks new tasks will be set. There are helpful videos for you and your child to watch together.
Each week a new task will be set for your child to complete at home.

Predicting – What do they think this text is about?
Clarify – What new vocabulary have they experienced? Meaning?
Question – What would they still like to know?

This week as a class we are reading ‘Room on the Broom’ by Julia Donaldson. Please complete the writing booklet below.
Monday – label the characters and props from the story. Children to use their phonics knowledge to write the words independent.
Tuesday – Write a speech bubble for each character. eg, I am a dog as keen as can be.
Wednesday – Label the ingredients for the magic potion.
Thursday – Write a set of instructions using the ingredients from the magic potion. Add the rat. Then add the slug.
