Wider curriculum for this term
Our theme this term is ‘Journeys’. Through our history topic on Ancient Greece, we will be focusing on the concepts of democracy, power, fairness, expectations, influence and equality.
Throughout the term, children in Year 6 will have regular philosophy debates to encourage them to question and understand the historical concepts of changes through history. They will be able to recognise similarities and draw contrasts between the society of Ancient Greece and society today.
We will start our understanding of these concepts through a philosophy debate. Children will then explore these concepts further through cross-curricular learning.

It is important that children continue to understand how to stay safe on the internet. I would like all children to work through the online safety module to keep them safe when accessing the internet.
