Our topic this term looks at British history from the reigns of Edward the Confessor to William the Conqueror

Mastery English 

We are following the Mastery English Scheme. This term Year 6 will be studying War Horse by Michael Morpurgo.

Physical Education

P.E is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please ensure that your child has their P.E. kit in school all week, as sometimes there will be opportunities for extra P.E. sessions.  All jewellery must be removed during P.E. lessons.

 

Homework

Homework is set weekly and is due in on Thursdays. Children are expected to read for 20 minutes a day, at least 3 times a week. Please encourage children rehearse their spellings and times tables. Click on the links for your child’s homework and the national expectations for  Key Stage 2 spellings.
