Our theme this term is ‘Communities’. We will be focusing on the concepts of adversity, discrimination, compassion, fear, influence, power and prejudice.
We will start our understanding of these concepts through a philosophy debate. Children will then explore these concepts further through cross-curricular learning.

We are studying the art by L.S. Lowry
How does Lowry use colour to create atmosphere?
Why are so many of his characters stooped?
Lowry paints a lot of industrial landscapes. Can you think of an industrial landscape in Worksop and paint or draw it in the style of Lowry?
It is important that children continue to understand how to stay safe on the internet. I would like all children to work through the online safety module to keep them safe when accessing the internet.
