English Weeks 3 and 4

Over the Easter holidays I would like you to study poetry.

Use this link on Espresso to help you revise similes and metaphors. There are also several videos and poems to inspire you to write your own poetry. I would like you to link this with your learning in R.E. and write a poem based on The Stations of the Cross.

We are going to use a scheme called Bedrock Vocabulary. This will help you all to learn new vocabulary. I will e-mail your parents with your log-in details.

RE Weeks 3 and 4

We are now entering the most important weeks of the Catholic calendar.

Can you remember studying this Gospel passage during one of our R.E. lessons?

Below are some activities for Holy Week:

Holy Week KS2 (1)

Read the following scripts. Present your version of The Stations of the Cross through artwork or a piece of writing. Perhaps there are enough people in your house to perform the play?

If you want to continue to look at the music about Ancient Greece that we started in class then this is the link:

P.E. – On going.

Physical activity is extremely important.

Joe Wicks will lead a DAILY online P.E. session for all primary schools starting at 9am. Below is a link to his Youtube channel.

He will go live at 9am with a workout for them to follow, just tune in and follow his lead!

Online safety – On going.

With children facing time in isolation, it is important that they work through the online safetfy module to keep them safe when accessing the internet.
