As you know, Attendance is a key part of how we help our children follow our values of learning, included and safe. At parents meetings many of you will be given a coloured guide for attendance. All children need to be in the green or blue categories to be able to access their full entitlement to education. If your child has attendance in one of the other categories or below 90%, this can easily be improved. A child who is in the red category at this point in the year, could easily jump two colour bands up if they have no more days off or lates. Please take a look at Arbor, share the attendance banding with your child and set a challenge to move at least one colour banding up by coming to school every day. There are only 86 days of the school year left – I know you can do it.
