Attendance update:
Messages have gone out to parents in Arbor where attendance is being monitored. This is for any child whose attendance is lower than 97%. It is really important that parents are aware of this so that they can stay above the percentage. To be above 97% at the end of the year, a child can have no more than 6 days off in total. Any lates count towards this. When attendance drops below 90%, this is equivalent to 19 days across the whole year and includes lates. Children below this level can be subject to Early Help referrals, Education Enforcement Referrals, Fines and / or court action. If you have concerns about your child’s attendance, please speak to Mrs Beckett or Mrs Fox as soon as possible so we can support your child to thrive socially, academically and spiritually to their fullest potential. Please look at the image carefully – it shows that when a child attends 100%, it leaves 175 days every year for the child to be at home with you or to visit places and experiences. As always, thank you for supporting your child.
