Computing
Intent
Computing is integral to all subjects across the curriculum at this school.
Our curriculum intent document below shows the progression of skills.
Implementation
Computing skills are taught discretely and then applied to lessons across the curriculum.
Impact
- Observations of children working with computing will show basic skills.
- A range of work that has used computing will be seen in books.
- Children will be able to talk about computing using the key concepts identified in the National Curriculum Programme of Study for Computing.
- Links will be made with other areas of the curriculum. For example, when looking at bias in history, children will be able to identify the use of bias and propaganda in some research tools.
