We have a strong focus on high quality education for all. However, the number of children who are not getting 96% or more of their education through absence is still high, despite the hard work of staff and families. This means that many children at Holy Family are not meeting the expected standard for attendance, are missing out on learning time and missing out on time with friends. This hugely increases childhood anxiety, lowers confidence and self-esteem and impacts on each child far longer than the days they have had off.
We need your help to make sure that your child gets their full right to education and so that we can show others how we are “Together in Love”.
Please check your child’s attendance on Arbor. If it is less than 96%, your child has had 5 or more days off school (lates count as half a day). If they have no more days off, this would change your child’s attendance to over 97% and give them the best chance of succeeding.
