Summer Term Canoeing

2026-05-07T14:19:00+00:00

It is that time of year again where we get to take our own canoes and Mr Parker out to learn all about team work, water safety and get fit too.  It is also wonderful to spend time in nature surrounded by birds and peacefulness.

Our Hub

2026-05-07T14:15:26+00:00

Friday was a busy day for the children, they sat beautifully to watch the story of ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ 🐻 🎒 Miss Rush used BSL to help the children to develop their communication skills. In the afternoon the children got to spend time on the balance bikes again, a fantastic way to strengthen their core muscles and extremely fun! 🤩 We hope you’ve enjoyed your bank holiday weekend and look forward to seeing the children for more fun this week ☺️

Attendance Reminders – Summer Holidays

2026-05-01T08:17:23+00:00

As the sun begins to shine, many of us start to think about Summer Holidays. As you know, the rules about Attendance changed. If you book a holiday that departs before the end of term, even if there are teacher training days / INSET days, these can be counted towards a penalty notice. Please see the attached poster and pop along to see me or arrange a telephone appointment so we can talk through any questions or worries about attendance. On behalf of the children, thank you for keeping everyone learning, included and safe by making sure children attend every day.

Week 3 Eastertide activities

2026-05-01T08:16:16+00:00

Week 3 of celebrating Eastertide: I loved seeing the cards that you sent in. If you forgot, don't worry you still have time. Ways to celebrate this week: Collect pebbles / stones and paint them to look like Easter eggs or flowers. You could hide them in a local park for someone else to find. Make your own Eastertide prayer, each person says something they are thankful for Use the rosary you made in October to share a prayer together
